Sony Announces Over 1,000 Developers Licensed To Self-Publish On PS4

The Sony PS4 has been extremely successful ever since its release, and the next generation console does look set to continue to burn up the hardware sales charts in the months (and perhaps years) ahead, although you might not want to purchase the Sony PS4 if you happen to live in South America, as that region sports some mighty high prices for the console. PS4 Sales In UK Might Have Surged As Well Last Week

PS4 Sales In UK Might Have Surged As Well Last Week

Even since both new consoles, PS4 and Xbox One, came out in November last year analysts and fans alike have been keeping an eye on the competition between them. In several markets it appears that the PS4 might be outselling the Xbox One. However last week it was reported that the Xbox One sales had gotten a big boost over in the UK, sales apparently jumped 96 percent. If that happened, it could be attributed to the launch of Titanfall, a much awaited title for the console. A report suggests that this boost really might not have helped Xbox One leave its rival behind.

Xbox One Closes In On PS4 In February 2014 NPD Figures

Xbox One Closes In On PS4 In February 2014 NPD FiguresSoftware sales might be in decline for February 2014, where new game sales fell by 9% year-over-year to $318 million, but hardware sales have swooped in to help save the day. In fact, the release of the new PS4 and Xbox One consoles continued the momentum in the right direction, where the gap between the two competing consoles have also narrowed by quite a considerable margin. Since Microsoft did announce that it sold 258,000 Xbox Ones last month, PS4 sales figures should be a wee bit more than that. Could swing gamers affect the sales figures differently this month?

Watch Dogs PS4 Version Dishes Out 1080p/30FPSIt is always nice to see fanboys on both sides of the divide presenting their arguments to tell the world as to why their point of view is correct, and here we are two contenders in the video game console department – the Xbox One and Sony PS4. Watch Dogs has come under the microscope this time around when it comes to the resolution as well as framerate, and it does seem as though the PS4 version of Watch Dogs has the upper hand over the Xbox One version. Basically, the Sony PS4 version of Watch Dogs will feature 1080p resolution at 30fps, while the Xbox One version will dish out 960p at 30fps. As for the PC version, I guess it is hands down the winner, as depending on your system configuration, your eyeballs will be able to enjoy up to 4K resolution, with a variable framerate.
