There has been some talk about Apple developing a dark mode for iOS and a new report suggests that the next major iteration of Apple’s mobile operating system is indeed going to bring a system-wide dark mode. iOS would be late to the party as this is something you can already get on an Android smartphone.
9to5Mac reports that Apple will introduce a system-wide dark mode with iOS 13. It would span across all of Apple’s native iOS apps and would certainly be a welcome addition as it would cause less eye strain for users who tend to use their devices in dark conditions.
Apple may also make significant improvements to productivity on the iPad with features like new multiwindow support for apps. Each of the windows will reportedly have their own “sheets” which could be detached and moved around the screen freely as a card. The cards can then be stacked and switched between quickly.
