Verizon’s Nexus 7 Arrives At Stores (Rumor)

Verizon’s Nexus 7 Arrives At Stores (Rumor)We all love promises and the kind of hope that promises carry. After all, don’t politicians secure their voting base based on the kind of promises that they offer during the campaigning period? Of course, there are some elected representatives out there who truly have a heart to serve the people who elected them into office, and these are gems, rare and few in between. Verizon, as a company, has dished out a fair number of promises that they would be able to officially support the Nexus 7 on their own LTE network, but so far, these promises seem to be nothing but hot air. We are then more than pleased to bring you word that an actual launch of an LTE compatible Nexus 7 is really, really close and about to happen.

LTE Nexus 7 Coming To Verizon Next Week [Rumor]

LTE Nexus 7 Coming To Verizon Next Week [Rumor]The Nexus 7 tablet was launched more than half a year ago, which makes it by technological standards relatively “old”. However the tablet is a decent one with pretty decent hardware specs, not to mention its affordable price tag makes it a great purchase for someone who is shopping on a budget but wants the best value for their money. That being said, we’re sure some of you guys are looking forward to the LTE model as well, which is why the good news is that according to the folks at Droid-Life, they claim that according to their sources, the LTE model for Verizon could go on sale as soon as next week, starting on the 13th of February.

Now a LTE Nexus 7 for Verizon is not exactly a secret. In fact Verizon it was as long ago as last year that Verizon promised that a Nexus 7 with LTE would be making its way onto its network. However due to certification issues, the Nexus 7 for Verizon was a no-show. However assuming Droid-Life’s sources are right on the money, perhaps Verizon might have sorted out whatever certification problem they were facing and could be getting ready to launch the tablet on their network. Either way try not to get your hopes up just yet, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more info, so check back with us next week to see if there are any details to be had.

Nexus 7 To Make Its Way Onto Verizon [Rumor]

Nexus 7 To Make Its Way Onto Verizon [Rumor]If you’re looking to get your hands on a tablet, how does the Google Nexus 7 sound to you? The tablet is not only relatively affordable, but it also packs some pretty impressive specs making it a pretty good bargain for what you are paying for. Now the good news is that if you were hoping to pick it up from a carrier, either for 4G LTE purposes or hoping that it might be subsidized in some way, the ever reliable @evleaks has revealed that the Google Nexus 7 tablet will be making its way onto Verizon’s network in the very near future. No specific dates were mentioned but given the leak and the fact that the tablet has been around for a while, we can only assume it won’t be too long before we hear an official announcement of sorts.

@evleaks also claims that the Nexus 7 will be arriving on Verizon’s network without the carrier’s branding at all. This is great for those who’d rather not have a carrier’s logo splashed across the device, which to a certain extent affects its resale value as well. We’re not sure if this is because it is a Google device that Verizon chose/was not allowed to put their branding on it, but either way it’s good news for would-be customers. We’re not sure if Verizon will be offering any subsidies on the tablet, especially since tablet subsidies are pretty uncommon compared to smartphones, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for more info so check back with us later for more updates!
